HIRSAP
Helmholtz International Research School
for Astroparticle Physics and Enabling Technologies
The HIRSAP is a graduate school of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM), which was installed in April 2018.
It is dedicated to the development and application of cutting-edge particle detection techniques and corresponding analysis methods in high-energy astroparticle physics.
The school has a very international and interdisciplinary character by bringing together leading physicists and engineers in the fields of particle detection technologies, data analysis, simulation, and model building that come from different continents. At the same time it is a well-focused school, aiming to solve selected fundamental questions, such that PhD students and the supervisors will have a genuine interest to work together.
